Daniel Maresch is the founder and managing director of Core-Backbone GmbH.
In the management, he is responsible for strategy, financing, purchasing and personnel.
Even before studying business informatics at the University of Regensburg and business administration at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, he founded his IT company in 1999, at that time still as a sole proprietorship. Since 2006 he has managed the operations of Core-Backbone GmbH, one of the most successful carriers worldwide. As the company developed into a modern carrier, the job duties of the IT infrastructure expert continually moved from engineering and IT more and more to strategy and management. Besides network technology he currently applies himself primarily to improving business processes, purchasing and staff development.
He likes to spend his free time playing football or skiing.
