A new company, a new team, and many new tasks – starting a new job is always exciting.
Our colleague Mert has been part of Core-Backbone GmbH for six months and shares insights into his experiences in Office Management so far.
– How have you experienced your first six months at Core-Backbone?
The first six months have been very exciting for me as I have learned a lot of new things. I was given new areas of responsibility that I had not encountered during my training. At first, it was a bit of a challenge, but with the support of our CBB team, no question remained unanswered.
– Do you feel well integrated into your team and the company?
Right from the start, the company gave me a very good feeling. The employees are all very relaxed and friendly, and the overall atmosphere in the company is very positive.
– Do your tasks meet the expectations you had before starting?
My tasks have exceeded my expectations in a positive way. At first, my responsibilities were manageable, but over time, I was assigned bigger and more important tasks.
– Do you feel that your strengths and skills are being well utilized?
My skills and strengths have been tested and improved over time. In the beginning, I approached tasks a bit more carelessly due to youthful recklessness. However, I have since learned that my abilities can still be developed and that they continue to improve thanks to the experience shared by my colleagues.
– How do you perceive the work environment and company culture?
A good collegial relationship is very important to me, and that is definitely a priority at CBB. The company places great value on maintaining a positive work environment.
– What has positively surprised you the most in the past six months?
I can’t pinpoint one specific thing that surprised me the most because I started with a positive mindset. However, I can say that I feel lucky to be working at Core-Backbone GmbH, and I look forward to contributing to the company’s future.
