Daniel Maresch is the founder and managing director of Core-Backbone GmbH.
In the management, he is responsible for strategy, financing, purchasing and personnel.
Even before he began to study business computing at the University of Regensburg
and business administration at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, he in 1999
founded his first IT company as a sole trader. Since 2006 he has managed the operations of Core-Backbone GmbH, one of the most successful carriers worldwide.
As the company developed into a modern carrier, the job duties of the IT infrastructure expert continually moved from engineering and IT more and more to strategy and management. Besides network technology he currently applies himself primarily to improving business processes, purchasing and staff development.
As a excited 1.FC Nürnberg fan he lives in Nuremberg. His favourite leisure activities are
football and skiing or his adopted home Mallorca.
