In two of our five Points of Presence, located in data center Interxion in Frankfurt, we have proceeded following upgrades:
1. In POP Interxion FRA2 we have expanded our router FRA10 MX2008 with MPC9E line cards. Thanks to this upgrading we have reached 11,2 TB/s as a complete capacity. MPC3E and MPC7 line cards have been removed and replaced with more powerful MPC9Es. Because not all of line card slots are occupied, Core-Backbone has an opportunity to proceed more upgrades in the future.
2. We have relocated our router FRA20 MX960 from Interxion FRA4 to a new Interxion spot FRA15. Now we have 4 racks at our disposal to grow further with our customers. At the same time, we have extended our router with 3 extra MPC10E line cards. We have altogether 8 MPC10Es in use and therefore we are able to offer 400G ports. The new capacity of 12TB/s replaces former speed of 7,7 TB/s before modification.
Core-Backbone stands not only for the best quality, but also for on-going development. Our customers are thus provided with reliable connections at the highest level, because connecting the world is our main goal.
