We are very pleased to welcome Dr.-Ing. Jochen Lorz as the new Managing Director of Core-Backbone GmbH starting in January 2025!

Together with the founder and shareholder Daniel Maresch, they are shaping the successful future of the company as a strong leadership team.

Mister Dr. Lorz studied mechanical engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and earned his doctorate. Over the past five years, he served as Managing Director of a family business, where he successfully established a new business area for CO2-neutral energy supply using data-driven models. Prior to that, he gained 14 years of international experience at a large energy corporation, where he was responsible, among other things, for founding an industrial spin-off focused on battery storage and hydrogen technology.

With this impressive background and his spirit of innovation, we look forward to working together and are full of confidence about the upcoming projects under the joint leadership of Jochen Lorz and Daniel Maresch!
